Hope's Garden Club:
Members of Hope Presbyterian Church plant, water, weed, and harvest the produce from a garden plot located outside of Spicer. The produce is donated to the Care Pantry at Hope, the food shelfs, other local churches, and individuals. If you would like more information or would like to donate your time to work at the garden, please give Cathy a call at 320.796.2650.
Community Meals:
Hope Presbyterian Church hosts the community meal along with Harrison Presbyterian Church every 5th Tuesday. The community meal is enjoyed by close to 175 people. Good food and good conversation is something you will experience during one of the community meals.
Hooked on Hope:
Hooked on Hope Ministries seeks to provide love and acceptance to women who are incarcerated or were formerly incarcerated and who struggle with addictions. We minister to their physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs. Through the power of God's steadfast love, we provide individual spiritual guidance, art kits, and a writing component in an effort to heal the wounds that led to destructive behaviors.

Compassionate Baskets:
Another ministry that will bless many people is Baskets of Hope. Baskets of Hope are given to people who have experienced a hardship in their life, such as a divorce, fire, loss of job, or other significant life trials. If you are aware of someone who is in need of a basket, please contact Cathy Plucker.
Hope to Home Meals:
Please join this wonderful ministry every 3rd Monday at 4:00 pm in the church kitchen. Hope to Home Meals are homemade meals prepared for anyone in our congregation who has experienced health problems or is homebound. After they are made, we deliver or donate toward the expenses, please contact Cathy Plucker.
Prayer Shawls:
Women of Hope have made these beautiful prayer shawls to give to those who have health concerns or other types of concerns. They have also made pocket prayer shawls that have been given to numerous youth and also brought along on mission trips.
Prayer Chain:
Two prayer chains exist at Hope Presbyterian. Prayer is a powerful tool to use during illness or other concerns. Each chain has a number of people who are ready to pass the prayer request on to each other and spend time in prayer for what ever the circumstance is.
Bear Ministry:
These cuddly bears are given to those who have health
concerns or for those experiencing other hardships. The
bears go to their new home wearing a
t-shirt that says,
"From your family at Hope Presbyterian Church".
Grief Kits:
Grief kits are given to children who have lost a loved one. The kits are given to them either at the visitation or at the funeral. Depending on how old the child is, some of the items in the kit could include: a photo album, pen and journal, a booklet "A Child's Story on Death", treats, and a prayer bear.
