CARE Pantry

Every first and third Tuesday of the month, we hold our CARE Pantry distribution days.  Everyone who partakes comes at noon for devotions and a lunch.  They then proceed up to the CARE Pantry to go shopping for the household or hygiene products they are in need of.

CARE Pantry

Christian - Our goal is to show Christ's love to those in our community, to take seriously the call of Jesus to serve one another.

Assistance - Assist people by providing items that will help them care for themselves and their families during difficult times.

Relationships - We desire to build relationships through our CARE Pantry.  We seek to serve and connect with those in our community.

Encourage - To support others in their journey, we aspire to give them the confidence and hope they need both spiritually and physically to know they are loved by God.

Items Offered:

* Hygiene products:

Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, deodorant, shaving cream, razors, feminine products, oral products, lotion, Band-aids, hand sanitizer, facial tissue, and toilet paper

* Baby supplies:

Diapers, wipes, shampoo, lotion, baby wash, and diaper rash ointment

* Children supplies:

Shampoo, conditioner, hair detangler spray, body wash, toothpaste, and toothbrushes

* Teens:

Feminine products, face wash, hair gel, and deodorant

* Items for the Elderly:

Denture tablets, bladder control products, adult diapers

* Household items:

Laundry and cleaning supplies, garbage bags, food storage bags, aluminum foil, wax paper, and clear plastic wrap

* Birthday kits are also available for those children celebrating a birthday that month.

Referrals

Referrals are needed for those that want to pick up supplies.  They may be made by a pastor from a local church or from a social service agency, such as:

* Kandiyohi County Family Services

* Heartland Community Action Agency

* The Link in New London

* The Kandiyohi Area Food Shelf

* The Salvation Army

* UCAP
